How to Bid / Types of Bids

To place a bid on a project that interests you, follow these steps:

Open the Project: Navigate to the project you are interested in and click on the “Bid” button to place your bid.

Choose the Bid Type: There are two types of bids you can select from: Preliminary Quote and Final Bid.

Preliminary Quote: If the client accepts your bid as a preliminary quote, it means that the final price and other agreements will be decided during the working process. The payment will be made directly from the client to you, using methods such as cash, cheque, credit/debit card, or any other means agreed upon.

Final Bid: With a final bid, the terms of payment and other agreements are decided before the start of the project. This type of bid allows you to place a SafePay Deal, which ensures that you

Select the Bid Type: Choose the appropriate bid type by clicking on the corresponding button: Preliminary Quote or Final Bid.

Enter Bid Details: Provide the price and due date for the project, as well as a summary of your bid. This information helps the client understand the terms and scope of your proposal. Professionals with PRO membership can enhance their bids by highlighting them in color, making them more visible among other bids. They can also attach pictures of their previous works or photos of relevant details to support their bid.

Review and Edit Your Bid: Your new bid will appear in the project’s bid list. (screenshot) If needed, you can make changes to your bid by clicking the “Edit” button. This allows you to modify the price, bid type, and other parameters as necessary. It’s important to note that the details of bids placed by Professionals with PRO membership are not shown to other bidders, ensuring the confidentiality of your bid. Please note that the project can be modified by the client only until the first final bid is placed. In the event of any changes, all bidders will be notified to adjust their bids accordingly.
